The Fabriano paper mill has been producing paper since 1283. Cylinder mould machines were added in the nineteenth century and there is now an extensive range of both hand and mould made papers
made at this mill. For those thinking of visiting this part of Italy there is an excellent museum at Fabriano including a comprehensive exhibition of watermarks.
This is a part of cotton (60%) and part woodpulp, watermarked with two deckled edges, acid free. It is available in two colours, Bianco (White) and Avorio (Ivory).
